Toledo Tribune has an Office space

Dear Readers,

Let me begin with an apology, one meant to soothe the neglected hearts of our loyal readers. The last dry days of autumn, that brief window when tasks that demand sunshine cry out for attention, swept me away like leaves on the wind. There were gutters to clear, wood to stack, and a shed door that refused to shut properly until its hinges felt the embrace of a wrench. But now, the rain has returned, drumming its soothing rhythm on the roof, and I am once again here, pen in hand, ready to share the tales and tidbits that make our dear Toledo Tribune a part of your lives.

And there is news, oh, such wonderful news! The Toledo Tribune now has a home—Bruster’s Whimsy, nestled snugly next to the Timbers on Main Street. If you see the lights on, come in, settle by the fire, and join in the kind of warm conversations that make us forget the chill of November evenings.

Bruster’s Whimsy is more than a home for our words. It’s a game café bursting with euro-style board games, enough to keep even the most strategic minds occupied for hours. Soon, when the County’s hurdles are cleared (and they do love their hurdles, don’t they?), we’ll be serving coffees sourced from the far corners of the world, paired with treats for the most refined palates. Monthly tea parties will grace us, where the finest hats in Toledo will rival even the creations of Paris. And then, for those who dream in sugar and cream, there will be nights of desserts so decadent they’d make even the angels blush.

Bruster himself, ever the dreamer, has ideas that sparkle like a crisp frost at dawn—plans so grand they take your breath away and leave your mind spinning.

With this new chapter, we’ll dive deeper into what makes Toledo not just a town, but a treasure. We’ll uncover hidden stories of the past, explore the hopes of our future, and celebrate the everyday magic of the present. So saddle up, my friends, and strap in. Together, we’re on the ride of a lifetime, and I promise you, the best is yet to come.

Yours warmly,

The Toledo Tribune
